Why We Need the Holy Spirit

Join Pastor Mark as we reflect on the fruit our lives are producing — and the fruit we want to see grow. In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of the talents, reminding us that each of us has been entrusted with something from God. These gifts and talents include the gift of the Holy Spirit and the unique abilities He’s placed within us to partner with Him. We are called to use them faithfully and fruitfully.

Galatians 5 shows us what it looks like to walk in step with the Spirit. Instead of using this passage to point out what’s wrong, we’re encouraged to use it to honestly assess our hearts. What kind of fruit is growing in your life? Are you being led by the Spirit or slipping into old patterns?

This message challenges us to stay in step with the Spirit, use what God has given us, and constantly be renewed so that our lives reflect God — because we are His ambassadors.
